Welcome, Bloggers!

With the “Save Recipe” button, your blog is Recipe-Box and Grocery-List enabled

Thanks for installing the “Save Recipe” button on your site. Your readers now have a way to take your recipes to the grocery store or the kitchen counter through the free BigOven app. And the app now points people directly to your site for the full recipe.

We encourage you to share a blog post with your readers (see an example post), introducing them to the new “Save Recipe” button on your site. This button allows your readers to make grocery lists from your recipes, add individual items, and keep their favorite recipes on their Apple, Android or Windows phone. Check out our short video to see what BigOven is all about!

BigOven is a free recipe organizer and grocery list used by millions of cooks. It’s available for iPhone, iPad, AndroidWindows Phone and the web. The “Save Recipe” button let’s your readers easily save recipes to BigOven’s recipe box from your blog.

The “Save Recipe” button  lets you save a copy of recipes from your favorite blogs into your BigOven account. When you click the “Save Recipe” button on a blog, a window pops up and you’ll create an account (just once). Now you’ll be able to save the recipe to your recipe box and add it to your grocery list. All the recipes you save show up in your “Added” list in the apps, carry the ingredients and a photo, and link back in a simple tap to the original blog for the full recipe instructions.

BigOven’s free apps and web site sync across all devices, so you have your recipes and grocery list at home and on-the-go. The grocery list sorts items by aisle for you, saving you time at the grocery store.

BigOven membership is free and lets you store up to 50 recipes, make grocery lists, menu plans and more. An optional Pro membership upgrade is also available from BigOven, which offers unlimited recipe storage and removes all ads.

Feel free to use BigOven’s screenshots, logos, explainer video and this example post to help explain the new “Save Recipe” feature on your blog.
